COVID-19 has intensified things that have existed throughout humankind’s history: loss, loneliness, stress, happiness, and growth.

Now, we are also in the midst of a nationwide conversation about racial injustice.

  • What if someone traveled across the country for a month talking with people of all stripes?

  • What stories and personalities will emerge along the way?

  • How have things changed for people and what do they think the future holds for them?

The Game Plan

Scott Henderson hit the road on June 20, 2020 traveling westward from Indiana to Oregon and then returned eastward to St. Louis. Eventually, he will arrive in Georgia and reunite with his son after 7 months apart.

His travels introduce him to new people while reconnecting him with family and friends as he traced segments of historic and pre-historic trails. His path reminds us we are not the first ones in this land to face adversity nor we will be the last.

So what’s a real-time documentary?

We’re opening up the production process to you via our social media channels. Plus, we’re inviting the audience to help shape the experience by recommending people/places to visit and contributing content through community challenges.

The creative spine will be a series of six 10+-minute videos, which will begin to appear while the journey is still underway thanks to our partners at VidLoft.
